Bournemouth promenade is the perfect place to ride your mobility scooter
Our favourite beach is Alum Chine and there are many ways to reach it
You can park in the Alum Chine car park or on one of the roads at the top and walk down through the deep ravine of either Alum Chine or Middle Chine.
The Middle Chine entrance takes approximately 15 minutes to scoot down and is a few minutes away from the Alum Chine beaches. The entrance is on Westcliff Drive where it joins with West Overcliff Drive
Scooting down the chine can be slightly uneven  with occasional tree roots but if you’re careful it’s an easy ride. The trees provide a cool escape from the heat of the beach during the summer.
As you reach the bottom you are greeted by a fabulous view of the sea, the Purbecks, and  possibly the Isle of Wight.
The prom is lined with Beach Hut. While scooting along you will see the privately own huts and the council run colourful huts. 
When returning to your car be prepared for the incline up through the Chine. Some walkers would find this particularly hard work.
