Purchasing a mobility scooter was a big deal for me. Being in my 50s,  previously active and agile but with  considerably reduced mobility due to MS made me realise I had two choices: sit at home and be miserable or be positive and accept it. I chose to get out and about on a mobility scooter!

I can now go on long ‘walks’ with my very fit and mobile husband and enjoy looking for new scooter-appropriate places to go.

There was little on the internet aimed specifically at mobility scooters, so I thought I would help others by creating this guide of the places we have visited.
